Tepee Shoot at Pipewell Hall
Updated: Jul 31, 2018
Recently I took part in a collaborative photoshoot at Pipewell Hall working alongside Teepees and Tents and Nerissa Eve Weddings. I love it when a photoshoot comes around! The planning, the pinning on Pinterest and picking perfect suppliers. I love how everyone comes together as a team to create a magical styled shoot and showcase their work. The photoshoot took place in the beautiful grounds of Pipewell Hall, a truly idyllic location for your special day. The Teepee overlooked Pipewell Hall estate including the pretty lake and if you're lucky you'll spot the young scottish highland cows. Friendly owners, Trudy and Sean, were on hand to help the shoot run smoothly.
Our model Anna Lily Bucannan looked stunning in a vintage wedding dress courtesy of Courtyard Bridal in Kettering with hair by Love Laura Hair Design. Laura chose to show two styles for our Boho styled shoot, a tousled up do followed by a half up half down. The models stunning locks complimented by Vivi Embellish's, handcrafted bridal accessories. Bridal make up by the lovely Liza, our bride looked beautiful all day on shoot! Word to the wise, don't be tempted to do your own hair and makeup on your wedding day, relax and bring in the pros.
We were joined on the day by our furry friend, Pina, who undoubtedly stole the show!
It wouldn't be a Wedding without the Cake and compliments. Victorias outstanding cakes never disappoint and the macaron tower by Maison des Macaron is great way to tie in your colour theme... and I promise, you will never taste macarons quite like it. Both displayed on a sanded wine barrel and surrounded by an awesome floral arrangement by Julia Dilworth Flowers. Julia Dilworth is an inspiring florist and someone we have worked closely with over the years. Beautiful urns at the entrance to the tepee and gorgeous flower bouquet. Florae Foray supplied the wild floral arrangement in our vintage bicycle basket and the birch tepee floral arrangements which couldn't have suited the tepee better.
The venue was supplied by Tepees and Tents. For this shoot three hats were used positioned in a triangle with the opening to the front overlooking the lake. The Teepee was brought to life with styling by Nerissa Eve Weddings. 6 years of collecting stock have resulted in an aladins cave filled with an eclectic mix of hire items. Nerissa Eve is a one stop shop for all your wedding props such as; easels, whiskey barrels, personalised chalkboards, table decor, lanterns, personalised stationery... Click here for a closer look..
It's always fun adding interactive elements to your wedding day to keep your guests occupied and entertained. The Little Big Ale Company is a mobile converted 1985 caravan available for festivals, private hire, weddings and parties. The mint green caravan added character to the shoot and offer an array of alternative alcohol to suit every taste.
Another element sure to keep children (& adults!) happy is the traditional vintage ice cream trike known as Hetty supplied by Honey Bees Vintage.
And a massive thank you to photographer Sarah Vivienne whose eye for detail never miss a moment. I was so excited to see the images from the shoot. As an aspiring photographer myself I can appreciate the importance of choosing the perfect photographer for your day. I highly recommend Sarah Vivienne, you will be in safe hands and enjoy photos you'll treasure forever.
If you're planing your own wedding right now, get in touch with any of the suppliers form this photoshoot, they all shared the same vision and made the shoot a huge success.
